James Harden continues his case to go back to back NBA M.V.P. Trophy's as he took the Memphis Grizzlies on a Monday Night Stroll through the Toyota Center. Harden goes for a season-high 57 points with nine boards as he shot 33 times but also had 18 attempts from the charity stripe.

The Rockets led 54-48 at the break after trailing after the first 29-24. It was Harden who led the charge in that first half as he dropped an NBA Record 36 which is absolutely ridiculous and I don't care how many attempts Harden took the Grizzlies "Grind Father" Tony Allen might have kept him to 26 but that still doing work.

Houston then took off on a 33-22 3rd frame as the Grizzlies were stilled stunned at what harden had done to them in the first half. Rockets SF Danuel House Jr. had 15 points and Austin Rivers added 11 with six helpers as Gerald Green punched 14 points off that Rockets Bench.

Memphis was led by Garrett Temple and Mike Conley Jr. with 14 points each as they shot 50% plus as a team but just 55% from the stripe. Rockets in turn shoots 20-22 from the stripe as Memphis turned it over some 24 times and coming out of the motel spells gloom and doom.

Rockets go onto win 112-94 as here are the numbers on Harden's record-breaking night:
