A game that would be characterized as Golden State testing the waters with Boogie Cousins and the Boston Celtics trying to find that stride that can carry them through the Eastern Conference. The game was back and forth with "Dubs" seemingly in control heading into the 4th the nit happened and everyone in the building knew as did the Warriors.
Celtics PG Kyrie Irving playing his Alter Ego and Movie Character Uncle Drew was in his nag and stayed in his bag nearly through the entire 4th frame. Uncle Drew score a dozen of his team-high 32 points in the 4th as the Warriors could do nothing to stop him.
Quietly from the visitors they had a player or players who can also get it going for a frame big time and Kevin Durant scored 14 of his game-high 33 points in the 2nd half with 8 of that coming in the 4th to quietly offset Uncle Drew's production.
The C's shot just 42% from the field as they had four starters in double figures with Al Horford (22 pots 13 rebs) and Jayson Tatum (20 pts) following Kyrie's lead. The Warriors also get 4 starters in double figures with Steph (24 pts) and Klay (21 pts) following K.D.. "Dubs" Boogie Cousins added 15 points with eight boards as "Dubs" has the luxury of going through at least 4 players down the stretch to most teams one maybe two players.
These two might met again and wouldn't that be special in June 2k19..."Dubs" moves to 35-14 while the C's fall to 30-19!
