The Baltimore Orioles invade Arlington, Texas and the Ballpark at Arlington to take on the AL West 2nd place Rangers. The O's are come in third in the AL East with plenty of work to do as the Rays have past both them and the Yankees. O's come in 4 games back of the Carmines for first place in the AL East. The Rangers are just two games back of the AL West leading Athletics of Oakland and nine up on the surging Halos. This is a big time series for both as they try to get in that winning groove for the trek to the "Fight for October" and that Pennant Drive 2013.

The Good News for the Rangers is that RHP and 2013 All-Star Yu Darvish is off the D.L. and ready to go for the 2nd half. Holland will start off the series as the Rangers split a four piece with the O's in Camden a week or so before All-Star Break. The O's have a good three set going as both Teams are anchored by 5-Star Closers in the O's Jim Johnson and the Rangers Joe Nathan.
