The Toronto Blue Jays First Baseman and DH Edwin Encarnacion homers as the 'Jays beat the O's in Charm City 7-3. O's right hander Jason Hammel gets the loss as he gives up six runs on ten hits in six innings. Blue Birds Starter Todd Redmond didn't factor in the decision as he lasted just four innings allowing four hits and three runs including a Solo Shot to Major-League leading Home Run Hitter in O's Chris Davis and for Davis that is number 36 on the season. With the win the Blue Birds are still twelve games back of the Carmines as the Orioles are six back of the Carmines as well.
The Atlanta Braves beat Two-Time No-Hitter throwing Red Legs RHP Homer Bailey 5-2. The Braves rode the Left Arm of Mike Minor as he goes seven allowing two runs on six hits and striking out seven. The loser Reds RHP Homer Bailey went six giving up ten hits and was charged with four runs as he falls to 5-8 in 2013. Its was the Braves Outfield that did the damage with no Upton's or Heyward. The Outfield of Jose Constanza, Reed Johnson, and Joey Terdoslavich combined to go 7 for 11with two ruins scored and one RBI. The Tomahawk Shop 404 also gets two Solo Bombs from Uggla and All-Star Freddie Freeman.
