The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have struggled in 2013 and have yet to hit the .500 mark and start heading north as time is running out. The Oakland Athletics lead the AL West over the Rangers by 3 1/2 games and some eleven over the 4th place Halos. If the Halos are to make a move it has to be in head to head match ups as well as in the month of August or 2013 will be a wash. The A's are trying to run away from the Rangers as they try to think about October Hardball sooner rather than later.

The Angels will have to start off on eh right foot as they have their most consistent Arm on the Bump in 2013 going in Game 1 and that is LHP CJ Wilson. The A's have Ace RHP Bartolo Colon going in game 2 and he is sandwiched in between Straily and Milone who have been up and don but they are .500. After Wilson for the Halos they have to have Williams, Richards, ands Hanson step up as its not all on them but the Halos need solid outings from all three to make a serious move in this four game set.
