The Miami Heat for a fact I know they didn't want to do it but the new NBA Luxury Tax Penalties even have the Black Card Member running and ducking from paying those steep penalties. Now with the Penalties not just Dollar for Dollar over the Cap but $1.25, $1.50, $1.75, $2.25, and even $2.50. NBA Teams are making tough decisions and unfortunately there will be more.
Well the Miami Heat had to do a away with a Key Cog in SF Mike "M&M Plain" Miller as they used the Amnesty Clause on him reported by numerous Media Outlets. Miller Salary removed at $6.2 million in 2013-14 and $6.6 in 2014-15 would have cost the Heat a reported $30 million in Luxury Tax on a $12.8 Million. Miller will get his money but at this point in a Veteran's Career who has paid his dues and playing through all those injuries as his body is breaking down...you just want to win and win big. I look for M&M Plain to get on to Veteran Team like the Brooklyn Nets or even the Houston Rockets or Bulls for that Winning Time Run as M&M Plain is certified and verified a "Fight for Larry" Hooper.
The Green bay Packers make sure that Defense is still headed into the right direction. They ink an important cog on the back end in Safety Morgan Burnett to a 4-year $24 plus million deal that included a signing bonus north of $8 million. Now the Pack have Defensive Tackle B.J. Raji in 2014 if they choose sop to take care of and all the Key Players will be locked up as they locked u OLB Bloodline 52...Clay Matthews Jr. in the Spring of 2013. Packers had to get that deal done or it was Franchise Tag for Burnett as both were on the clock.
