The Chicago Blackhawks and GM Stan Bowman continue to make the right moves at the right time and lock up 23-year old Center Markus Kruger. Kruger spent most of his time on that 4th Line of the Hawks but has gotten better and better since they called him up in the 2011-12 season. Now with Center Dave Bolland traded away his role should increase as the Blackhawks look to stay on top of things in the West and the "Fight for Lord Stanley".

The Team that the Hawks beat in the Final was the Boston Bruins an they have made it clear they are all business. As Winger Nathan Horton departed to get a big pay day with the Columbus Blue Jackets the Bruins tackle care of a more important piece. Center Patrice Bergeron will be a Spoke for at least eight more season as he reportedly inks a 8-years $52 Million deal to take him to the age of 35 with the Bruins. During the 2012-13 season "Bergy" scored 32 points and ten of the thirty hit the nylon. And in the Chase  for "Lord Stanley" he had 15 points including a robust 9 goals as they took the Chicago Blackhawks into a Game 6.
