NBA Free Agency heats up as "Dwight of Three Stripes" plays Candy Land, Monopoly, House, Scrabble, and whatever else he and his Thinking Cap thinks up. Coming East though talking the Nation's Capital Pro Hoops the
Wiz have been on the straight and narrow and the law of averages say, " You will move North sooner or later in the Standings".

The Washington Wizards do the right thing in the 2013 NBA Draft by getting Local Star from the Georgetown Hoyas in Otto Porter Jr. as the 3rd Pick. He is as NBA-Ready as any pick in 2013 and he is a perfect fit for the Wiz Kids with a back court featuring John Wall and Bradley Beal. Follow that up with Ne Ne at the power Forward and French National Team Player Kevin Seraphin...the Wiz are looking up and chasing a Playoff Spot in 2013-14 and when was the last time anyone following Wizard Hoops said that.

Now comes the good news that Wizard Small Forward Martell Webster (pictured right) will ink a 4-Year deal to stay with the Wiz Kids. He is a Shooter and a Finisher on the break with excellent size as he averaged 11.4 ppg for the Wiz Kids in 2012-13. Then after the Rip City Blazers decided not to extend a qualifying offer to PG Eric Maynor (picked Combo G C.J. McCollum in 2013 Draft) he comes back near home (Maynor played at VCU) the Wiz look to sign him on July 10th to be the 3rd Guard in that solid Wiz Kid Guard Rotation.

All we need now is those Washington Bullets Jerseys and the Cap Centre in Landover, Maryland and the Wiz would have come full circle. Where is Kevin Grevey, the Big E, and Wes?
