The Detroit Tigers are coming off winning three of four from the Blue Birds of Toronto and that put them right back atop the AL Central. The Cleveland Indians are in the 2nd slot in the Central and they come off losing two of three to the Kansas City Royals. The Tigers are trying to put some distance between the Tribe and whoever else wants to joining the AL Central Fray heading into All-Star Break.

The Tribe for their sake will not have to face Verlander or Scherzer. They will though have to face that Tigers Line Up that found themselves in Toronto. The Tribe have been riding timely hitting and pitching as Tribe Skip Terry Francona is getting the Tribe back into that "Winning Attitude" and that's half the battle.
