The Tennessee Titans knew they had to man up headed into Jerry's World in North Texas. And this isn't an Amusement Park by any sorts but in the last few years teams have gone into the Cowboys swank digs and turned things into their favor.

Tonight was no different as the Titans dba #TitanUp in the Twittisphere (Twitter World) plays smash mouth football and beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-14. This is after the much-anticipated debut for new Cowboys WR Amari Cooper who scored the first TD of the game and his first as a Cowboys. After that the Titans dominated behind a solid run game (Dion Lewis 19 car 62 yds, QB Marcus Mariota 10 car 32 yds TD, Derrick Henry 6 car 27 yds TD).

That Titans O-Line led by All-Pro Taylor "Honey I ate D-Line" Lewan is a nasty mother-scooter but when he is on your side it's all good. Mariota's R.P.O. Game tonight was on point and the Titans must play like that to play in January and make a run. Mariota will take a pounding but that offense must be tailored to his strengths and R.P.O. is his game coming from the a "Quack Attack" Eugene.

I was more impressed the way he threw the Wilson pigskin around with RB Dion Lewis also leading the pack with 60 yards and a TD on four grabs, WR Corey Davis added 56 yards on six grabs as the offense was balanced.

The Cowboys in the 2nd half could get nothing going as QB Dak Prescott (21/31 for 243 yds 2 TD INT) had a solid vertical passing game. That Titans pressure packages was on point tonight and they were ready for anything the Cowboys threw at them. I just think when RB "Zeke" Elliott doesn't get his touches and over a hundo its tough sledding for the Cowboys. Yes they had to play catch-up and that's a credit to Titans and former Ravens D-Coordinator Dean Pees. I know Mr. Pees very well being a Steelers die-hard and that man has caused me to lose a lot of sleep and get a sponsor called Maalox!

Its called "Scheme" and the Titans made the adjustments and out-schemed Cowboys lead man Jason Garrett and company. Now the plot thickens in that AFC South as the Titans move to 4-4. The Cowboys playing in the NFC East puts themselves in a bad predicament falling to 3-5.
