The biggest game out west considering the only team in that Top 4 in the College Football Playoffs is Notre Dame. The Irish will get a USC Trojans Team that has fallen on hard times. N.D. heading into this one at robust and sparkling 11-0 has everything to lose as its sits at the #3 slot in the College Football Playoffs.
The Irish have had a magical season and it all started when QB Ian Book took over Notre Dame after his insertion has never looked back. The Trojans will have to get to him as N.D. has a balanced attack and everything goes in that playbook for the Irish.
S.C. has to rise up and play their best game to date and I think they will. The Trojans are not short on talent they just have run into one of those seasons and they can ill afford to just blow this game up as current #FightOn lead man Clay Helton has through reports been told he will be back at the helm in 2k19. You know as well as I do if he wins he gets a huge vote of confidence. Let Helton lose but get blown out in L.A. the Trojans Brass will be revisiting what they have been saying as early as Monday trust me on that its S.C. Trojans in South Central L.A....it's business!

The Trojans are more banged up than the Irish as they will miss Senior Sack Specialist Porter Gustin as his season ended with a fractured ankle. They have loads of talent still but one of the Irish Strengths is O-Line led by Sam Mustipher and Alex Bars can they open holes in the run game and keep Book clean in the pocket?
The Irish have scored 34.6 ppg and they give up 17.3 and that bodes well in this game and if they move on yes "D" always travels no matter where your playing...can S.C. and QB JT Daniels who has thrown 10 INTs and a true freshman solve that Irish "D"?
S.C. scores 26.9 ppg but they give up 27.3 ppg and they have had issues mainly being balanced and the vertical passing game with Daniels as its a steep learning curve. "Balance" and Helton and company know that but do they have the personnel or are we talking Scheme because if its Scheme they should have figured that out weeks ago!
Who has the pressure....N.D. of course at #3 but they have handles up to this point now this is the big one that will give them a month and a few days off to prepare for the next opponent...Coach Brian Kelly will have them locked in!
Kicking Game and Field Position is important...who wins?
The Irish must take the Trojans Nation right out the game and if they do lookout Irish Faithful...
Calling all play makers can the S.C. play makers stand taller in this one as they need to have a shot at winning?
