GM Steve "Nashty" Nash

Always looking ahead at Bluedude Sportstalk as the Bluedude has moved on from the FIBA and now its all about the all important "Hoops" for the National Teams across the globe. Yes Team U.S.A. now under San Antonio Spurs lead man Gregg Poppovich will be loaded as they are always loaded. Every country playing in the 2020 Summer Olympic Games knows the team to beat will be the United States. Now there is one other team that has to be projected as not only a threat to Team U.S.A. and the #GoldOrBust but a squad that is seriously thinking we should be a slight favorite to win the Gold.

Enter that country north of the United States that is solely known for producing the some of the best Hockey Players in the world and that would be Canada.  Canada has had in recent years major talent coming through the Scholastic Ranks and major colleges and now these same players are catching every ones "peepers" in "Logo Watch".

When Team Canada named one two-time NBA M.V.P. and perennial N.B.A. All-Star point god "Nashty" dba Steve Nash as their general manager back in the late spring of 2012 Canada was making a statement from a basketball standpoint we have arrived and will coming for everyone involved in the Olympics from here on out.

Jay Triano the current lead assistant for #BuzzCity dba Charlotte Hornets will be the lead man for Team Canada Basketball. Triano has also been an assistant for Toronto and Phoenix.

2016 Olympics Team Canada Basketball wasn't even in the Olympic Games in basketball. Now they fast forward to the FIBA Games of 2k19 and they will compete for an opportunity to get to Tokyo in 2020.

Let's look at what should be the 2nd best roster in Tokyo and arguably just as good as Team U.S.A.:

R.J. Barrett (Steve Nash is his god father) the #1 player on the NBA Green Room for the 2k19 Draft is the next up talking NBA Superstar. I would even go out on the limb with my money (not house money) and say he is the best player ever out of Canada...ever and that good as I have been watching this kid ever since he landed at Montverde Academy Florida.

Murray is the next up talking NBA All-Stars on this roster as he played under Coach Cal at Kentucky as did Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (watch this kid he already is sneaky good for the Clips), Trey Lyles and Kyle Wiltjer (transferred to Gonzaga after Freshman year at Kentucky).

Everyone including his current squad is waiting for the "Wigs" Minnesota Timberwolves Wing Andrew Wiggins to come full circle as he has no excuses as he has his bag...

That front line led by the "Olynyk Clinic" Heat's versatile "Big" Kelly Olynyk is solid and Thomspon and Birch are solid role players who can do all the dirty work for this highly-skilled bunch...

FIBA 2k19 will be their next test to qualify and after that it will be very interesting to see how that projected roster stacks up against Team U.S.A....

Analyzing the roster as a whole you have "off the bounce" players in Gilgeous-Alexander, Murray, Barrett, Wiggins and Joseph...

Shooters and you need these on how the International Game is played...Murray, Stauskas, Brooks, and Wiltjer

Versatile "Bigs" Lyles and Olynyk...

Stars 2 Watch for opposing teams are Murray, Barrett and Wiggins these three are the core as "Wigs" must take the next step in the next two years....
