The Philadelphia 76ers can't wait until tonight's tip-off in Orlando, Florida as they get to test their new-look with the addition of one All-Star SG Jimmy Butler. Butler is now of what many are calling the Sixers Big 3. Whatever happened to the Big 3 being a one of a kind thing as they throw that around along with the G.O.A.T. and whatever. How about calling it Philly's new trio and leave it at that and if they destined for greatness let it play out...the Big Three ok!
Meanwhile the Sixers come in tonight with a 9-6 W-L but having all sorts of trouble coming out of the Motel and winning. Philly's "Big" Joel Embiid is having no issues "Getting Buckets" and now that defensive end gets a huge upgrade or does it?
Butler adds that "Don't fear anything mentality" along with a willingness to take the big shot or make the big play down the stretch of games. There are not many of those guys as a lot of players might do it in the 82-game trek but not past mid-April. Jimmy Buckets is what they call him for a reason. Now that Spalding Orange doesn't have to sit in the hands of a player who can't shoot in Ben Simmons as Philly can go two-man with Jimmy and Joel and that should be a new Cheese Steak Samich (yes I said Samich) in the City of Brotherly Love!
As for the O-Magic a new-star is born as Aaron Gordon from Archbishop Smitty H.S. in San Jose, CA and a consensus Top 5 player in high school class in the nation and a McDonald's All-American by way of Arizona Wildcats Hoops has arrived (Same H.S. Class as Bulls Jabari Parker and Pelicans Julius Randle).
Gordon has taken a huge leap and the O-Magic go through him and accomplished "Big" Nikola Vucevic which should be a more than solid match up for Joel in the middle. Let's take a look at the projected starters for Sixers @ Magic tonight at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando, Florida.
