The Chicago Bulls just dug themselves too big of a hole Friday Night at the Madhouse on Madison. The Miami Heat (playing in AA 305 Home Duds) are way too talented to go up by 21 points (60-39) at the break and give that up even coming out of the motel.
Bulls Wing Justin Holiday (pictured left) played extremely well early as he carried that Bulls Offense with a game-high 27 points (tying Heats SG Josh Richardson 27 pts) and Holiday had 15 of his 27 before intermission.
Heat "Big" Hassan Whiteside controlled the painted-area early and often as Coach Erik Spoelstra matched up with Chicago trying to lay "Big" early as Hassan had 18 points and ten boards to go along with four blocks. Miami to their credit held Chicago under 26% from the arc and under 38% from the field.
Chicago did get it going in the 3rd as both Zach "Trampoline" LaVine (24 pts 9 asst) and Jabari Parker (23 pts 10 rebs) cut that Heat 21-point lead at the break to 78-69 heat. The Bulls in the 4th got the game within four points as 85-81 and never got any closer as the Heat pulls away late following Richardson and that Heat Bench.
The Heat Extras outscored the Bulls Bench Mob 37-11 and three Miami players off that bench hit double figures. Bulls have so many players out an no depth its been the hand they have been dealt since the beginning of the season.
Chicago falls to 5-14 as the Heat moves to 7-11 and Miami is actively trying to get from Bluedude Sportstalk's #1 Soap, "As #DCFamily Turns" either John Wall or Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards as we go to press. Bulls trying to get a healthy body or two back for some much-needed punch everywhere on the hardwood!
