Where do you start talking about this one as the Bedlam Series talking the Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Oklahoma Sooners Rivalry turned right onto the Oklahoma Turnpike. Yes Norman, Oklahoma was lit up like a Christmas Tree as both teams defenses finally made stands in the second half but the damage was already done.

The numbers were off the charts as the game came down to a two-point conversion with the "Pokes" failing and the Sooners winning 48-47. Both QBs in this one went "Nut Factory" but the much-heralded Sooners pint-size Pocket Passer Kyler Murray (21/29 349 yds TD 0 INT) was outdone in the vertical passing game at least by the numbers by Cowboys QB Taylor Cornelius (34/53 501 yds 3 TD 0 INT).

It was that Sooners Read-Pass-Option dba R.P.O. ran by Murray as he rushed for 66 yards on fourteen carries with Sooners RB Kennedy Brooks with a game-high 165 yards on the ground and only on fifteen carries with three in the Pokes end zone. Sooners #2 RB Trey Sermon added 124 yards and sixteen carries with two more in the "Pokes" end zone as that Cowboys run "D" as well as the Sooners run "D" needs some good ole Oklahoma Fixin'!

That 'Pokes" Vertical passing game was "lit" as Tyler Wallace ( 10 grabs 220 yds 2 TD) and Tyron Johnson (11 grabs 128 yds TD) caught everything thrown to them. Sooner star WR and Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brwon's Cousins Marquis Brown led OU with 8 grabs for 142 yards and a TD as he has vaulted himself to the top of many NFL Draft Boards to the #1 WR in the 2K19 draft.

What does all this mean moving forward the Sooners are still in play for the Big 12 Championship and a College Football Playoff bid. Looking further into it getting ahead of that will both OU lead man Lincoln Riley and Kyler Murray both head off to the NFL! Murray (Top 10 MLB Pick 2k18 at #9) told the Swingin' Elephants of Oakland Hardball dba Oakland Athletics after Sooner Football I am headed to Hardball...hold that down until January 2k19!

Sooners move to 9-1 and 6-1 in thew Big 12 as the Cowboys fall to 5-5 and 2-5 in the Big 12...
