Right out the gate we get four heavyweights meeting in the Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2k18 State Farm Classic. A lot of intrigue as the Michigan State Spartans will take on the Kansas Jayhawks. Tom Izzo head to head with Bill Self and it doesn't get any better than this.
"Sparty" will look to smooth back court Cassius Winston and Josh Langford as they are very thin in the front court. Jaren Jackson Jr. and Miles Bridges took off to "Logo Watch" (dba at Bluedude Sportstalk as the NBA if your not keeping up) but Izzo and company still we be solid and they are the Big Ten favorite.
The Jayhawks get Transfer help in Brothers PFs Dedric Lawson and K.J. Lawson from Memphis and PG Charlie Moore from Cal and that is big. They will also usher in dynamic Freshman Combo G Quentin Grimes from The Woodlands, Texas near Houston and he is all that. Another freshman to watch is Devon Dotson for KU and they will be in a pressure cooker playing that "Sparty" back court.

Izzo Teams are hard-nosed and solid and they will defend and hit the glass and do everything in between. Kansas must come with their hard hats and be prepared for a physical match up.
Sparty's Winston, Langford and McQuaid must carry the scoring load and for KU Lawson and Azubuike will be a load in that front court but watch freshman "Q" Grimes he is a special talent and one of my top 5 freshman in the country.
Look its game #1 for both and I predict a close game but KU's quality depth will be a huge problem for Sparty and eventually too much as KU should walk away with a double-digit victory...
