The Atlanta Falcons just about a month ago was all but done sitting at 1-4. They rally the troops and get back to .500 winning the next three as this game was important in the grand scheme of things as the Falcons try and get back in that tight #Fight4George Race talking the NFC Playoffs Hunt.
The Cleveland Browns on the other hand are playing for a myriad of things including some for jobs in 2k19 and for others to show they are not the issue that surrounds the "Dawg Pound" as they try and become relevant in the #Fight4Lamar dba AFC Playoff Hunt at some point.
Cleveland RB Nick Chubb gains 176 yards on 20 carries as he set a Brown record for longest rushing TD at a 92-yard burst for six in the 3rd that sent the Falcons to cold Lake Erie in full duds for jump in. Throw in Mayfield's 17 for 20 for 216 yards and three scores with no INTs it was a helluva game plan for Cleveland.
Atlanta falling to 4-5 gets 330 yards on 38 for 52 from "Matty Ice" but no ground game which meant no balance. RB Devonta Freeman cannot stay healthy and he is the difference-maker in what two years ago was a two-headed monster with RB Tevin Coleman (11 car. 44 yds) who just doesn't look the same or even run the same.
Cleveland well out of the race will enjoy this one moving to 3-6-1. Atlanta with the both the Saints and Panther still on the schedule with a game apiece can still get back into the race but time is running out!
Falcons star Wideout Julio Jones went for 107 yards on seven grabs and a score as he continues to be a NFL Fantasy Dynamo...
