The 2018-19 Chicago Bulls like any team in "Logo Watch" that isn't healthy out the gate will struggle to get them "Dawgs" under them. Tonight in the "Crescent City" on the "muddy" Mississippi" the Bulls needed "Bigs" like Bobby Portis and Lauri Markkanen to combat what "State Bird of Louisiana" Hoops had in that front court.
The "Brow" yes Anthony Davis one of the premier front court players on Earth went 9 to 5 on the "West Side Story Report" and doing it like a Sunday Stroll in the park. Bulls had no answer for Davis who went game-high 32 points grabbing fifteen boards and delivering seven assists. The "Pels" All-Star @AntDavis23 hit two money balls shooting 2 for from deep. Former All-Star PG Jrue Holiday messed around and almost went triple-double with 17 points, ten boards as he waited on nine tables.
Chicago to their credit stayed in the game and was down 58-50 at the break. It came down to the Bulls shooting 40% from the field and under 30% from the arc. Then you add some defensive breakdowns and the "Brow" doing his thing the Bulls drop to 3-9 on the season. Zach LaVine led with 22 points with Jabari Parker adding 20 points and hauling in a dozen boards. Bulls top pick Warren Carter Jr. kept his double-double streak going to four with 17 points and eleven boards as the "Rook" played seeing the "Brow" for the first time in his young career.
Chicago now head back home for a Saturday night tilt with a Cleveland Team that looks like "Bottom Feeders" since the King left the state. The "Pels" stay home and gets the Phoenix Suns as they move to 5-6. New Orleans came in with six straight L's.
