#SaluteToService
The Chicago Bears playing like the "Monsters of the Midway" on this day absolutely smothered the Detroit Lions and QB Matt Stafford a that "D" totaled six Red Jersey Collections. The mastermind behind that Bears Pressure was back in action today for the first time in over a month and boy did he look healthy.
Buffalo University Football's Khalil Mack registered two of the six Red Jersey Collections two tackles for a loss and four solo tackles. When #52 in Navy and Orange is on the end that "D" goes from Top 5-8 to Top 3 instantly.
Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky not be outdone threw for over 355 yards and 3 TDs on 23 for 30. #10 is solid and looking like he starting to get that "It" Factor. Now if he can just start bottling that magic potion he plays with along the shores pf Lake Michigan and take that on the road and come out of the motel with that game the Bears will become a factor in the #Fight4George.
No run game today as the Bears vertical passing game was "lit" as WR Allen Robinson ( 6 rec 133 yds 2 TD) and WR Anthony Miller (5 rec 122 yds TD) dominated that Lions Secondary. Detroit just turns the Wilson pigskin over way too much to get anything going today.
Chicago Place Kicker Cody Parkey missed two FGs and two extra point tries and not making any excuses but Soldier Field and Heinz Field are the two worst stadiums to kick in the NFL as we get to the winter months. He has to fix that and should be given the chance at least for now. I still think the Bears Brass will list the "Gig" on Linked In and "Hot Jobs" on Monday I just have that feeling.
Lions QB Matthew Stafford (25/42 274 yds 2 TD 2 INT) just can't keep clean in the pocket and that is half the battle playing behind center in "A QB Driven League"! Detroit falls to 3-6 while the Bears move to 6-3 and sits atop the NFC North.
These two teams meet on Turkey Day 2K18 in the "D" 3-1-3 and there will be a host of Bears Fans headed to the Motor City for that one...
