The Pittsburgh Steelers may though should have drafted Offensive Line Help why when you can get a 300 Pounder like ordering a Number 1 at the Golden Arches but it may not be of quality. The Steelers go ahead and reach out on the Free Agent Market and get 7-year Veteran Offensive Tackle Guy Whimper of the Jags. From the looks of the Depth Chart he will be in camp pushing the young guys and trying to ass depth to the O-Line. 2nd Year Players DeCastro and Adams will have to Start and make huge strides. 3rd Year OT Marcus Golbert has to stay out of the Training Room. All that will be under the Direction of Perennial All-Pro Center Twin 53.
Big Max Starks of the Swamp and Ex-Steeler as the Black and Yellow will not re-sign the Veteran it looks like is now picking up interest from the San Diego Chargers. The Bolts had major issues keeping Rivers clean in 2012 as they did get 1st Round OT D.J. Fluker but they may need some veteran depth. Good Luck #78...once a Steeler always a Steeler.
The Steelers I thought stole a Pick in the 4th Round when they picked up heat-seeking missile of a Safety Shamarko Thomas (pictured right) of the 'Cuse. He played all the Secondary Position at Syracuse and is as versatile as they come playing Safety. Thomas must know as Steelers nation knows he must be ready to play right away as the durable Ryan Clark is nearing the end and #43 can't play a full season. Expect former Steelers Safety Carnell Lake, by way of playing Linebacker at UCLA, and current Steelers Secondary Coach to speed up the Process for Thomas so he can get on the Field and be ready from Week 1. This Steelers Nation is out Starting Safety of the Future for the next 8-10 years...he is that good. Yes he will be a huge contributor on Special Teams from day one as well.
