The NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2013 has been out the last few season and there are always arguments. The Fans get angry because their guy they think deserves better and in some cases its a good argument. When a player plays the #1 Position in Football and has been to three Big Bowls he deserves a little more credit than he is getting.
Last night watching the Network unveil its Players 70 down to 61 there is no way in Wilson Pigskins or a Terrible Towel did I think #7 in Black and Gold would be that far back in the countdown. Before Big Ben was hurt vs the Chiefs last season he was having his best year of his career numbers wise and I mean on fire. No he doesn't get it done like most because he has back there drawing up plays in the grass before getting called to lunch and improvising in the Pocket on nearly every pass play. But for Players to vote him 61 out of 100 they have no clue. Of the Players who voted for him in that spot 99.9% were Offensive Players. See they don't have to face been on any snaps so its easy for them to say they were 8-8 and he is alright.
For the most part I am done watching that Top 100 but I have been done as they should list the Top 25 Players of each year and let it go. Being outside of those numbers is like being on a Practice Squad as you made the Team but we don't need you now as you couldn't crack that 53-man roster. Lookout Haters as #7 enters his prime and if we can every keep him 85% clean in the Pocket I want to see what the numbers will be then. Yes we lost Da Kid Wallace 317 but we are still fast at WR and have some new explosive editions.
In a nutshell Big Ben is a Top 5 and there is no other way to slice it as they put all three Rookie QBs ahead of him, Flacco, Ryan, and the usual suspects...c'mon Big Ben light theses fools up in 2013!
