Despite Injuries all over that Yankees Clubhouse to Key Members on the filed and in the Yanks Clubhouse they keep moving along. The Bombers have been doing it with of course Robbie Cano (.290 13 HR 32 RBI) and interested Vernon Wells (.288 10 HR 24 RBI) carrying the Yanks at the Dish. On the Bump it has been Kuroda (6-2 1.99 ERA) carrying the likes of Pettitte and Sabathia with the "Sandman" Mo Rivera doing what Mo Rivera does (17/17 Svs). The Yanks again will be a tough out in the AL East.
The Carmines have cooled off slightly but have been playing consistent baseball as they have the best 1-2 Punch in the AL from the Bump in Buchholz (6-0 1.78 ERA) and Lester (6-1 3.15 ERA). The one concern for the Bo Sox is Hanrahan is out for the rest of 2013 and will new Closer hold up? "Big Papi" Ortiz (7 HR 29 RBI), Pedroia (.333 2 HR 22 RBI), and Back Stop Napoli (.260 7 HR 35 RBI) have carried the Bo Sox offensively and that should continue for the Sox. They will be in it until the end..trust me on that.
The O's are being led by Young Stars like Jones (.312 6 HR 30 RBI), Machado (.318 5 HR 26 RBI), and Davis (.312 13 HR 41 RBI) who is having a monster year the dish. Hardy, Markakis, and Wieters also have contributed to the O's at the plate. The O's just need to get their Pitching up to speed with their hitting. O's Ace Jason Hammel is 5-2 but a robust 5.72 ERA will catch up to sooner rather than later. If all that can mesh they have one of the premier closers in the Show in Jim Johnson and he is 14/17 in Saves for 2013.
The Rays and Skip Joe Maddon always seem to be right there no matter what but the News hopefully will be good news if they can get 2012 Cy Young Winner David Price back on the bump. LHP Matt Moore has been lights out with an 8-0 start in just 9 starts with an 2.29 ERA. They also have one of the premier closers in the Show in the "Dominican Rocket" Fernando Rodney (9/12 Sv). Longoria is a stud and he has 9 bombs and 29 ribbies while hitting .335. He must cut down his K's as he has a 39 to only 18 free passes. The Rays will be in the middle but having Price will give them a way better chance although it is early.
