The Ottawa Senators had their chances and they couldn't stop the Pens #1 Man Sidney Crosby  in Game 2 as the Pens beat the Sens 4-3 to take a 2-0 lead in the Best of Seven Series. "Sid the Kid" struck twice in the 1st frame on the Sens and then just into frame 2 "Mr. Penguin" stuck again with his 3rd of the night and the Consol Energy was filled with just that and then some.

The Sens made it a contest got within 3-2 and then the Pens struck again right before the 2nd frame was to end making it 4-2. The Sens just inside the 3rd frame made it 4-3 as there Pens race to beat the clock was on with just over 17 minutes to go in the 3rd frame. The Pens chased Sens Net Minder Craig Anderson right after "Sid the Kid's" 3rd goal to complete the hat trick.

Its the Little thing to detail that are killing the Sens from getting a "W" in the series and now the scene shifts to Ottawa they must take care of home ice. The Pens did what they were suppose to do and protect home ice and the Sens have to do the same its just that simple.  Pens Net minder Tomas Vokoun was 19 of 22 and he only had to face half the shots the Pens put on the Sens goalies which was a combined 42 shots split down the middle for both Anderson and he Goalie who took over for him in Robin Lehner.

Game 3 in the Red Zone in Ottawa on Sunday May 19 at 730pm ET as it will be "United in Red" for Sens Nation.
