The game was billed as maybe the best of any tilt in the 2k18 NFL Schedule and to some degree it was a disappointment. Not making any excuses for both QBs Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady but key injuries have both QBs and teams scrambling as A-Rog is finding it more and more difficult to navigate week to week with new faces everywhere.

As for the Boston Patriots its that old mantra you here at the NFL Combine, " He is a Plug and Play" dude and for the Pats that is real as they just plug dudes in and out and the result remains the same because the two key cogs remain the same in Pats QB Tom Brady and Pats lead man Bill Belichick.

Look the game was close all the way through some key turnovers and the biggest was on the Packers sideline. With Green Bay driving deep into Pats territory it was Packers RB Aaron Jones (14 car 76 yds) that coughed the Wilson pigskin up and that was your ballgame. The score was 17-17 and A-Rog was starting to deal when that drive stopped. Brady and company wasted no time marching on the ensuing drive and scored making it 24-17 and they never looked back.

"Pack" lead man Mike McCarthy knows the problem can be fixed as its mental errors that have cost the "Pack" the last two weeks. Obviously they have to wait to get guys back healthy but these last two weeks they have imploded late and two L's headed back for some home-cooking at Lambeau soon to be the "Frozen Tundra" as we get into the back half of the 16-game trek ion the "Shield"!

Brady was solid doing Brady things connecting on 22 of 35 passes for 294 yards and a score. Josh Gordon is getting more and more comfortable as he grabs 5 balls for 130 yards an a TD. Opposing defenses will be in trouble if he is fully incorporated and comfortable with the scheme when the Pats get TE Rob Gronkowski back.

WR Josh "Flash" Gordon
5 grabs 130 yds TD

The Pats Custodian KR/PR/WR and now running back Cordarrelle Patterson ran for 61 yards on eleven carries and scored a rushing TD. Its amazing to see guys well-traveled find a home playing home games at Gillette Stadium and they perform at their highest level most of them. I know what your saying that's the "Patriots Way" I know and moving on.

Rodgers was 24 for 43 and 259 yards and two TDs as he also had a solid run game behind him but it was the turnovers. The aforementioned Jones led the attack with Jamaal Williams adding 34 yards on seven chances. The Patriots "D" give them credit coming up with the "Stop" or the takeaway at what appeared to be key moments in the game.

New England now moves to 7-2 and 2-0 in the AFC East as they have major company moving forward in the "Fight 4 Lamar" talking Chiefs, Chargers, Steelers and maybe Texans. Green Bay has plenty of work to do in the division alone with the Vikes and Bears leading the NFC North and the "Pack" chasing but still not out of it by no stretch.
