Every team needs a spark on that 82-game trek as the season gets long and for the young-ins in "Logo Watch" those dawg days counting late January into early February and the All-Star Break can break a player down.

In Portland, Oregon tonight it as again the Los Angels Lakers (3-5) taking on the Portland Trailblazers (6-2) and this time it was the #LakeShow prevailing in the end 114-110 behind stellar play from that Lakers Bench dba "A Tribe called Lakers Bench"!

Yes that bench play was led by "Double R" NBA Point God Rajon Rondo (17 pts 10 rebs 6 assts in 25 mins) as that bench outscored the Rip City Bench 51-26. King James didn't disappoint as he had a team-high 28 points and seven boards as Josh Hart joined Rondo off the Bench adding 11 points including 2 for 2 from deep.

The Lakers down 57-56 at the break came out flying in the 3rd and led 88-73 after three. Rip City's Cape Crusaders Dame Lillard and C.J. McCollum each had 30 points but shot just 4 for 17 from Woodburn, Oregon. That story from the arc led the Blazers to a 6 for 35 from deep an that cost them in this one as Team Stotts revolves around Dame and C.J. like they should.

Lakers must start to take care of the Spalding Orange as they had some 20 turnovers and coming out of the motel that will spell on most nights gloom and doom. L.A. moves to 4-5 as L.A. lead man Luke Walton appears to be on the hot seat. Rip City falls to 6-3as these teams will not see each other again until November 14th.
