Marlins Pitcher Henderson Alvarez went pitch for Pitch versus Pirates 2013 All-Star Jeff Locke as both left the game with no decisions. The Buccos get a big 3rd inning scoring three runs as the Fish get one in the 2nd and two in the 3rd. Alavarez went seven allowing six hits and three runs while striking out six. Locke left earlier as he went 5 2/3 innings allowing nine hits and three runs while,walking three and striking out three.

The game was one in the bottom half of the 9th as the Pirates Pinch-Hitter Josh Harrison takes Fish Relief Pitcher Mike Dunn for a Solo Ride in the PNC Park Seats and everyone drive home safely. Buccos All-Star CF Andrew McCutchen led the Buccos going 2 for 3 with two ribbies and a run scored.

The Pirates now maintain their two game lead over the Redbirds as St' Louis stopped the Dodgers 14-game Motel Win Streak. The Redbirds just didn't beat the Boys in Blue but they beat Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw. Both the Pirates and Redbirds are in the middle of four game sets as the NL Central is still tight race and a two-trick pony.
