A lot of story lines in this one as the Seattle Storm are without Aussie Lauren Jackson (Hamstring Surgery) and Point God Sue Bird (Knee Surgery). Couple all of that with a three game skid they should have been ripe for the taking right? The Sky 7-3 on the 2013 season and holding down the #2 slot in the East are coming off a big win vs Local Star Candace Parker and the Sparks last Saturday. Problem was for the Sky was the absence of Star Big Sylvia Fowles (sprained ankle vs Sparks last Saturday Night and out) hamper the Sky on the Glass and hurt them in this one? WNBA Vet and Rebounding Machine Tina Thompson is currently holding down the paint for the Storm in 2013.

The Sky jumped out to an early 14 point lead only to surrender that by the half 34-31 Storm. The Storm never relinquished the lead back as they go onto hammer the Sky 69-60 as it just wasn't Chicago's night scoring, rebounding, or defense. The Sky did an excellent job rebounding as Swin Cash and Elena Delle Donne of the Sky combined for 25 boards and a 41-36 advantage over the Storm. Shooting under 30% from the field and under 20% from the Arc will doom any Team on any level and the Sky have only themselves to blame for not shooting a better percentage.

Delle Donne and Sky Shooting Guard Epiphany Prince led the Sky with 12 points as Cash chipped in with 7 points and fourteen boards. The Storm's Camille Little and Temeka Jackson led the Storm with 16 points apiece and Storm Veteran Power Forward Tine Thompson added 10 points and eleven boards.

Th Sky's next game is July 7th in NYC vs the NY Liberty as the Sky falls to 7-4 in 2013.
