The Dodgers are now getting hitting from a line up that is not all just A-Gon, Hanley, and Puig. The "Boys in Blue" pound out seventeen hits on D-Backs Pitching as Chase Park as they chased everyone in the Park but the Folks at the pool in right center.
Dodgers 2013 prized-Free Agent RHP Zach Grienke, who gave the Rangers one more chance to sign him in the off-season before landing with the Dodger Nation, was brilliant. Zach went seven innings and allowed just two hits striking out seven and walking two D-Backs and allowing no D-Back Ducks to cross the dish. Greinke improves to 7-2 on the season as D-Backs Randall Delgado went six allowing three runs and striking out three.
The Dodgers get multi-hit games from Puig, A-Gon, Hanley, Ethier, Uribe, and Greinke who went 3 for 3 with a run scored helping his own cause. Dodgers Shortstop Hanley Ramirez has been on fire as he is hitting .419 since he came off the D.L. in early June. The forgotten man is Andre Ethier who can't find anywhere to play with Kemp back and Puig not coming out of the lineup anytime soon.
The Dodgers stop the D-Backs five win streak and move just 3 1/2 games back of Arizona.
