The Top Hitters by average in the American League as we get to All-Star Break at the start of next week. The question is who on the Junior Circuit poses a threat to reigning AL Triple Crown Winner Miggy Cabrera of the Tigers" Chris Davis of the O's appears as we go to press to be the favorite in the Home Run Race only. Miggy leads in Average and Ribbies and he is far and away the best all-around hitter at the Dish right now in the Show.

Top 10 Hitters by Average in the AL:
Note: XBH-Extra Base Hits in Parenthesis

1. 3B M. Cabrera #Tigers .364 (49)

2. 2B D. Pedroia #Carmines .320 (30)

3. 1B J. Loney #Rays .319 (30)

4. 3B J. Donaldson #As .319 (39)

5. DH D. Ortiz #Carmines . 318 (38)

6. 1B C. Davis #Os .316 (59)

7. LF M. Trout #Halos . 315 (48)

8. 3B M. Machado #Os .315 (47)

9. 2B H. Kendrick #Halos .312 (28)

10. 3B A. Beltre .311 (40)

Miggy is at it again leading the Show average and Ribbies let alone the AL...

Pedroia is rock solid for the Bo Sox and is the heart of that order along with "Big Papi" who is amongst the leaders in Run Producing...

Loney has been the one consistent player at the dish along with Rays Hot Corner Longoria...

It was suppose to be about Reddick and Cespedes but Donaldson along with Cespedes is carrying the Athletic load...Reddick is struggling mightily...

Davis in the last e and a half has been struggling making contact as his average has dipped some 17 points in that span...

Here comes the Angels Mike Trout as they have dropped him to 3rd in that order and that tells you what kind of run producer he really is. He had all those numbers in 2012 his rookie year leading off...Imagine that!

Machado is "Next in Line" to be one of the great ones for the O's as he has 47 extra-base hits to go along with a .315 clip at the dish...

Kendrick along with Trout has been fabulous as he hits in the 2-hole right in front of Mike....only if the Halos could get "El Hombre" Pujols and Hamilton going....What If?

Beltre was Top 4 in the AL MVP Voting in 2012 and his not skipped a beat as the run producing Numbers are slightly off but he is still doing damage for the Rangers.
