I will say this just like whats going on in the NFL the "Logo" is evolving or has evolved right in front of out "Peepers"! Yes the NFL has R.P.O. (Run-Pass-Option) and the "Logo" has simply the "Money Ball" talking 23'9" and every teams offense from small to bigs to stretch earthlings at the four and the five is getting in on this and why not.

The "Only Game in Town" dba #RipCity Portland Trailblazers owned the late great Paul Allen shot a blistering 18 for 35 from Eugene. The New Orleans Pelicans dba #DoItBig and "State Bird of Louisiana Hoops" needed everything working tonight from the famous Mother's Restaurant Honey Baked Ham to that signature Crawfish/Skrimps (Shrimp but you know what it is...Skrimps) Po'Boy Samich with "Debris" all over and then some to combat that shooting from the arc.

Rip City's dynamic duo of Dame Dolla and C.J. McCollum wasn't even clicking tonight as Dame carried the load for an easy Weber State-like 26 points with seven boards as he waited on six tables court side. C.J. added just 8 points but Portland's "Big" Jusuf Nurkic the pride of Bosnia-Herzegovina added 20 points of his own and nine boards.

The difference between this team and that 2017-18 Blazers Unit is that Evan Turner (Westchester, IL St. Joseph H.S. by way of The Ohio State University) has permanently moved to that 2nd unit directing traffic and everything else has fallen into place. As both Blazers 2018 free agent pick-ups Nik Stauskas has been big as has S-Dot Curry (yes Stephen Curry's lil Bro) along with 2nd Unit "Bigs" Zach Collins and Caleb Swanigan gives the "Only Game in Town" flexibility and versatility and they can all shoot the "Money Ball".

Throw in solid "D" as the Blazers ranked 10th in the "Logo" last season this team will be in that 3-6 range all season long in the west. The "Pels" has no Anthony Davis but their 2018 free agent pick-up Julius Randle (29 pts 6 rebs 25 mins) has been huge for them and his "Motor" which separates him from most on almost every night.

Randle led the 'Pels" in scoring as they shot just 9 for 28 from deep and that's - 27 from the arc and coming out of the motel on the 2nd leg of a back to back won't get you in the win column.

Blazers move to a quiet 6-2 while NOLA falls to 4-4...
