The "Devs" maybe should have paid someone to get Hossa to eat a pre-game meal near frigid Lake Michigan than close the deal...Lol c'mon now that's my Hawks Fav or one of them!

Hossa and "Captain Serious" Hawks dba El Capitan Jonathan Toews broke up a 1-0 "Devs" lead early in the 3rd as the Indian Head with six more games straight coming up at the Madhouse needed both points. They lost in a shootout and then on Hump Day lost in Extras as the "Nucks" Sedin Twins were all over the stat sheet in that one.

Hossa scores his 17th and added an assist to get to 42 points on the season. Toews scoring #16 and Kris Versteeg added an empty netter (EN) with 44 seconds remaining in the contest. Hawks out shot the Devils 35-26 as Hawks "Blue Paint" Tenant Corey Crawford (22-12-3) stopped 25 of 26 SOG as his game and confidence needed a game like this.  

"Devs" net minder Corey Schneider stopped 32 of 34 SOG as the "Devs" D broke for just those first five minutes or so in the 3rd and you cannot let a team as skilled as the Indian Head to get that going and they did and lost in doing so.

Hawks move to 34-18-4 with 72 points as they stay 3rd in the central. The "Devs" 7th in the Metro falls to 21-25-9 with just 51 points...

The Indian Head gets the "Pens" Sunday February 15th at the Madhouse at 11:30am CT...
