The Portland Trailblazers lying in the weeds knowing they don't need a top reinforcement but someone to add to their front line starters who is a starter. Through numerous media outlets Blazer Mania has struck a deal to bring former UCLA Bruins Star Arron Affalo to Portland in a five-player deal.
Rip City will send PF Thomas Robinson dba T-Rob, Will Barton, and Victor Claver to the Mile High Nugs as WF Alonso Gee comes packing with Affalo to Portland as well. T-Tob will add to PF Kenneth Faried and J.J. Hicks while Barton should see immediate minutes at the shooting guard slot with Combo Guard "Foye Boy" Randy Foye and PG Ty Lawson who is also out in the open waters for a trade. Claver also adds beef up front as that was vacated by Cleveland trading for then Nugs "Big" Timofey Mozgov.
Affalo might be a perfect fit to a team desperate to get another top-end body to take the offensive load off the Blazers Big 4 in All-Stars Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge along with Wes Matthews and Nicolas Batum. Affalo is averaging 14.3 ppg for the Nugs this season.
