The Oklahoma City Thunder smashed and dashed their way to a 131-108 "W" over the Blake Griffin-less Clips on Sunday Afternoon in Thunder Alley but that wasn't the story. The Thunder might have found them some things in this one moving forward as GM Sam Presti would say ," Patience is of Virtue" in OKC with his core still intact in Russ and KD.
Yes @kdTREY the reigning M.V.P. of the Bluedude Sportstalk innovative "Logo Watch Fusions" and the All-Red River Team 2014-15 had a game-high 29 points. Russ added 19 points and eleven helpers but it was Rook Mitch McGary from the Maize and Blue by way of famed Brewster Academy in New Hampshire (where he starred with current Suns 2014 top pick T.J. Warren of NC State) going 19 points and ten boards in just over 23 minutes.
That production added to that what looks to be possibly a dynamic 2nd unit led by Reggie Jackson (15 pts) and Dion Waiters (16 pts) as Regulators OKC Reinforcements rolled right over the Clips back ups 62-41.
The Clips get a team-high 21 points from Jamal "206" Crawford and 18 points and thirteen boards from CP3 but they were down at one point in the 4th by 32 points. No Blake Griffin of Jordan Brand will take some getting use to as he is out indefinitely reportedly with a Staph Infection in his elbow and that is nothing to play with.
OKC moves to 26-25 while the Clips fall to 33-19 as the Motel Swing ends in Dallas on Monday Night...lookout Clipper Nation!
