The 7th ranked Arizona Wildcats playing sometimes "Sean Miller Ball" that grind it out blue-collar East Coast Brand of Basketball made for the original Big East. Then at time playing West Coast ole Skool Pac-12 Shirts & Skins my players are better than your players hoops.
Well in Seattle Washington on Friday the 13th with Jason lurking on that beautiful U-Dub Campus the ladder broke out and the 'Cats wasted no time keeping pace with the Co- PAC 12 leading Utah Running Utes behind their All-American Nominee Delon Wright.
Arizona leading 43-24 at the break with the Huskies lacking more on the Roster than in the game plan came fighting back. With the score 59-40 at the 13 minute mark the Huskies behind money balls x 2 from Andrew Andrews had that lead cut to eleven 65-54 than came a Arizona time out and a Dunk by super-soph Rondae Hollis-Jefferson made it 67-54 'Cats than a T.V. Time out.
After the time out the 'Cats behind Jefferson its was true freshman monster Stanley the "STAN-imal" Johnson, and Captain McConnell in point guard TJ McConnell who took over from there. Arizona closes on a 21-8 run as you will not find a better Trio on Campus talking major college basketball than Hollis-Jefferson (17 pts 9 rebs), Johnson (20 pts 8 rebs), and Brandon Ashley (11 pts). Throw in McConnell and his back-up in PG Gabe York of Orange County, California (13 pts) you have a top 10 outfit and a real threat to cut down the nets in "March Madness" 2k15.
The Huskies were led by Andrews 18 points and eleven a rebounds with Bloodline Shawn Kemp Jr. (yes the son of former Supersonic Highlight Reel Shawn Kemp Sr. dba Rain Man) added 13 points. Sophomore and former Big Mac High School All-American SG Nigel Williams-Goss struggled shooting just 1 for 10 from the field for 7 points.
Arizona moves to 21-3 and 9-2 in the PAC 12 while the Huskies fall to 14-10 overall and 3-9 in the PAC 12...
