The Detroit Pistons Lead Man, GM, and Prez Stan Van Gundy dba S.V.G. might have finally hooked up the right ingredients in the Motor City. The last trade bringing OKC Thunder and Russell Westbrook's Caddy Reggie Jackson to the "D" might be a five-star going entree!
With the Pistons leading 57-52 at the break they get shot out of a cannon after the intermission outscoring the Washington Wizards 35-19 as Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was on fire in the frame with 13 points including two money balls. K.C.P. might be the perfect fit playing alongside Jackson who had 17 points and five helpers in his Pistons Day View.
Detroit never looked back for a 106-89 "W" K.C.P. had a game-high 26 points followed by the "Motown Bigs" in Greg Monroe (15 pts 15 rebs) and Andre Drummond (18 pts 16 rebs) as the "D" was +21 in points from deep and +8 on the glass.
The Wiz Kids D.C. was led by Poland's Marcin Gortat's 24 points and ten boards as Wall-Star dba Adidas Basketball's John Wall goes 10 points and a dozen boards. Simply the Wizards need Bradley Beal back ASAP if they want to stay in that top 4 mix in the East. The hunt for the NBA Southeast is all but over as the Highlight Factory Hawks will runway or have already runaway with that division.
Detroit moving to 23-33 is just a 1/2 game off the #8 seed Brooklyn Flatbush Nets. The Wizards in the 5th slot in the east is 1.5 games back of Cleveland and two games back of the Chicago Bulls for #3 in the East as C-Town is holding down the #4 slot and en fuego!
