The North Carolina Tar Heels had it going early and often as they jumped out to a solid 1st half versus the #3 team in the US in the Virginia Cavaliers. With UNC Legend Billy C. dba Billy Cunningham the "Kangaroo Kid" (Sixers head man when Dr. J and Sixers won their only Chip in the early 80s) the 'Heels were putting on a show.

Then the Cavs got back to "Bennett Ball" and Wahoos Hoops took over in the 2nd half. Led by arguably the best trio of Guards in Men's Division 1 in PG London Perrantes and Combo Guards Malcolm Brogdon and Justin Anderson the 'Hoos took it right to UNC.

With the score 48-44 almost midway through the 2nd half it was two lay-ups my Anthony Gill and a lay up by Anderson that put UVA up 54-44 to stay. That lead would eventually balloon up to 70-54 with a little over two minutes remaining and it was a a culmination of things taht led to to the Cavs 75-64 "W"!

It was limiting UNC All-American Marcus Paige to just 15 points as Brogdon and Anderson took turns slowing him down as well Perrantes. The scoring of the Cavs fantastic trio Brogdon (17 pts), Anderson (16 pty 7 rebs), and Perrantes (15 pts 6 asst) and when they are rolling the Wahoos are a tough act to stop.

UVA moves to 8-1 in the ACC a 1/2 game ahead of the 8-2 Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. UNC falls to 7-3 in the ACC as that was a huge loss at Louisville this past Saturday as thy blew an 18-point 2nd half lead.
