The Kentucky Wildcats might not lose a game counting March Madness but they make it interesting to watch as the Tennessee Vols for about 30 minutes were no Mayonnaise Samiches Diet! UK struggled to put away Ole Rocky Top Tennessee and finally did so late in the 2nd half as they did it with a plethora of Student-Athletes that would be the #1 option on your campus!

The 'Cats only up 35-31 at the break found themselves in a nip and tuck affair all the way into the seven minute TV Timeout. They followed the lad of Freshman Sniper Devin Booker (18 pts 7 rebs) as he continues to give the #BBN consistent shooting from deep. Then it was was the versatile "Bigs" of Karl-Anthony Towns and Trey Lyles chipping in where they fit it as Kentucky broke open a 46-42 lead at the ten minute mark to a 56-44 lead at the five minute mark.

The Vols hanging tough behind guards Kevin Punter (14 pts) and Josh Richardson (10 pts) tried to make it an up and down summer league type tilt. UK just has too much size and versatility and can adapt on the fly to any style and personnel groupings. Couple all of that with UT shooting under 38% from the field and just 2 of 17 from deep that made them victim 26 on the #BBN Schedule.

Andrew Harrison (trading punches like the Morris Twins of the Phoenix Suns as you never know which twin might strike) added 14 points. It was he and Booker combining for a 4 for 13 night from the arc which was better than the Vols on this night.

Kentucky moves to 13-0 in the SEC and 26-0 overall as they try to reach those early 90s Runnin Rebs' Teams led by the late great Tark "the Shark" Tarkanian minus the 'Rebs Entertainment value which was better than an NBA All-Star Game...real talk.

The Vols fall to 6-7 in the SEC and 14-11 overall...and are in need of a miracle getting an NIT invite!
