The San Francisco Giants continue their play out of the Motel and last week 0-3 in Chavez Ravine and losing two of three in the Rockies is not good. A we go to press the Giants are three games under the .500 mark and 4th in the NL West. The Good thing is that the Rockies are the NL West Leaders and they are the only team over .500 in the division.
The Red Legs are glad to be playing after a home-cooked meal and no more room service out of the motel. They lose tow in the Black Hole to the Swingin' A's and two out of three near Big D at the Rawlings Gloves of the Rangers. At the present moment the Reds are 3rd in the NL Central and 5 1/2 back of the Central leading Buccos of the 'Burgh. Both Teams have to start putting L's together as they are either getting chased, chasing, or both as in the Gigantes case. This is the 1st match up since the Giants won three straight last October (Gigantes playing under the Twitter Hash Tag of #OrangeOctober) in Cincy to send the Red Legs Fishing.

The Giants will have Zito, Lincecum, and Ace RHP Matt Cain going with youngster Kickham going in game one. The Reds have Arroyo in game one having an edge and then going to Homer Bailey and Cingrano with Leake on the back end. Both teams know its important not to carry that bad hardball played in late June to the Mid Summer's Classic.
