The Arizona Diamondbacks came in with a five game skid and had two route to go on Wednesday Night at Citi Field. One win and end the Skid as they try to keep their lead in the NL West. Two become the Sideshow to the Matt Harvey & Amazins' Show. The D-Backs and Starter RHP Randall Delgado decided to go with route one.

The D-Backs touched up Harvey for five runs on nine hits through six innings. Yes Mr. Harvey struck out nine D-Backs but D-Backs Right Fielder Cody Ross with the Arizona down 2-0 in the top half of the 6th took Harvey for a Three-Run Ride and a D-Backs three run lead just like that. The D-Backs tacked on two more runs in the 7th as they chased Harvey. The Amazin's put one more run up in the eighth but could not overcome that final score of 5-3 D-Backs. The D-Backs now hold off the Rocks and Dodgers for now leading by two full games in the West.

The Buccos ride the big 4-Run 5th inning and they hold onto to beat the in-state Phightin' Phils 6-5.  The Pirates Jeff Locke gets the "W" going 5 2/3 innings allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out two. Locke moves to an impressive 8-1 on the season. The Pirates Offensive Power came from Hot Corner Pedro Alvarez as he went 3-run Bomb in that 4-run 5th inning. The Phils OF  Brown went 3 for 5 with a 2-run bomb as he continues to lead the charge for Team Liberty Bell at .280 Avg and 22 Bombs and 60 Ribbies. Pirates lead the Redbirds in the Central by 2 1/2 as we go to press as the 2nd place Redbirds are in late action in L.A..

The O's Chris Davis is making a run for the AL MVP and he is also trying to become the AL triple Crown Winner as he needs to get that average up. Davis went Solo Shot and a 2-run two-bagger late to close the credits on the host Pale Hose 4-2. Davis is hitting a whopping .331 with 32 Big Flies and 83 Ribbies and w still have two weeks to get tom All-Star Break. Tigers Hot Corner Miggy Cabrera is at .364 with 26 Bombs and 86 Ribbies as they both are putting on some kind of display on the junior Circuit and the Show for that matter. The O's stay #2 in the AL East 3 2/1 games back of the Carmines. The Chi-Sox eleven games out and in the basement in the Central are just not that good and haven't been in 2013.
