The Dodgers come in blazing and playing their best Hardball of the year winning eight of their last ten games. The Rockies are just 1 1/2 game back of the NL West leading D-Backs but 2 1/2 games in front of the last place Dodgers. From the looks of things the winner of the NL West will have to be just north of 86 plus games in the win column. Two of the Show's Premier young hitters will be displayed in this one in Puig and "Car-Go".
DODGERS @ ROCKIES 3-Piece Holiday Set
July 2, 2013 8:40pm ET
LAD Kershaw (6-5) vs COL Oswalt (0-2)
July 3, 2013 8:10pm ET
LAD Greinke (5-2) vs COL Chatwood (4-1)
July 4, 2013 8:10pm ET
LAD Capuano (2-5) vs COL Chacin (7-3)
The Dodgers will have their top three in the rotation going with Kershaw leading off the festivities in game one. The Rockies are trying to revive an old vet in former 'Stros Star Roy Oswalt and he will get game one vs Kershaw. The next two games should be ones to watch as the Rocks have Chatwood and Chacin having good years going up against Greinke and Capuano.
This series is important as the Dodgers will head to the bay after this 3-piece to for three with the rival Gigantes. The Rockies head to NL West leading Arizona for three with the D-Backs. To make up ground in the division nothing like going head to head within the division.
