The L.A. Dodgers came in hot as did a few Dodgers Hitters in their series with the rival Gigantes. After Friday Night add "Boys in Blue' Utility Man and Two-Time Fall Classic (2005 Pale Hose/ 2010 Giants) Winner Juan Uribe to the mix. Uribe missed a hitting a Single for the Cycle and he did in Giants pitching all by himself. a 3 for 5 with two runs scored and seven Dodgers knocked in the Dodgers 10-2 dismantling of McCovey Cove. Dodgers SS Hanley Ramirez continued his hot steal going 2 for 3 as Cuban Sensation Yasiel Puig went 1 for 5. The Dodgers are closing in on the 1st place D-Backs quickly as they beat the Rockies. Dodgers chased Giants Starter Matt Cain after 2 1/3 with six hits and eight runs on his Tab.
The New York Yankees rally in the 9th and put up a crooked two to beat the O's as Yankees OF Vernon Wells get the game-winning single. O's Save Man Jim Johnson blows the save as Yankees RHP Ivan Nova goes the complete game allowing three hits and two runs while sending eleven O's back to the Bench looking for an excuse why they didn't make any contact. Bombers are only a 1/2 game back of the O's in the AL East as the Carmines are red-hot and on an Express Train to Sixty W's before the break.
The Boston Red Sox have all of a sudden put a few W's together and they put a 6-2 whippin' on the halos in Orange County California on Friday Night. It was the Bo Sox "Big Boppers" of "Big Papi" Ortiz and Mike Napoli that did most of the damage. With the game only 3-2 in the top half of the 8th Ortiz took Angels Reliever De La Rosa for a two-run bomb to make the score 5-2. Then in the ninth for a little added insurance Bo Sox Back Stop Napoli went Solo Shot to make it 6-2 and everyone drive home safely! Red Sox Starter Doubront gets the "W" as he goes 6 2/3 allowing five hits and two Halos to cross the dish. Halos LHP Wilson takes the "L" as he pitched well enough to win allowing three runs on six hits as he struck out five.
