The All-Star Break is almost hear and both the Reds and Braves would like to end it with a nice streak in the "W" Column. The Reds come in having played their worst stretch in 2013 but still only five full games out in the NL Central behind the Rebirds. The Braves have had every opportunity to put major distance between them and the Nats and Phils and haven't. Their lead in the NL East is only five full games and the Braves have led from Opening Day. This is a pivotal series more for the Red Legs as they try to stay close to the Buccos and Redbirds in the Central.
RED LEGS @ BRAVES a "Weekend Bender" Pre-Mid Summer Classic 4-Piece
July 11, 2013 7:10pm ET
CIN Latos (8-2) vs ATL Hudson (5-7)
July 12, 2013 7:30pm ET
CIN Arroyo (7-7) vs ATL Medlen (6-8)
July 13, 2013 4:05pm ET
CIN Bailey (5-7) vs ATL Minor (8-4)
July 14, 2013 1:35pm ET
CIN Cingrani (3-1) vs ATL Teheran (7-4)
The Red Legs have Latos starting it off versus Auburn Alum and Vet RHP "Huddie" Tim Hudson of the Braves. Bronson Arroyo and Medlen is a nice 2nd game match-up and then we get into "Mr. No-Hitter" in Homer Bailey vs Minor arguably the Braves most consistent pitcher of late. Sunday's "Get Away" Day Game Cingrano faces Teheran and that might be for a sweep, 2-2 tie, or even a 3-1 weekend for either team.
