The Tampa Bay Buccaneers now have both of their key cogs (Other being Boomer Sooner's DT Gerald McCoy) on defense locked up for awhile as the Bucs agree on an extension with "Monsters inside Tackles" at Bluedude Sportstalk in Backer LaVonte David.

David through reports will get a 60 months P.O. (Purchase Order) for $50.25 million ($25.56 million guaranteed) as he is easily one of the best backers in the "Shield". A former 2nd round pick out of Nebraska David has shown why he is worth that cash and more by going to Multiple Pro Bowls and already being names to an All-Pro Team.  His deal is similar to last week's signing of "Restore the Roar" Backer DeAndre Levy as both possess the same tackling skill set...they do not miss when the ball is targeted!

Looking at David's 2014 Digits as the Buccaneers #1 Tackler:
