From the looks of things Dodger Nation is arriving heavily as we speak to the 'Burgh for what has been deemed as one of the best "Weekend Benders" to date in the 2K15 season. The 62-46 (1st Place NL West) Dodgers taking on the 62-44 (2nd Place NL Central) Pirates should be a dandy. Even bigger than the series is Today's match up between Clayton Kershaw and Gerrit Cole as the Cubs and Gigantes resume their "Weekend Bender" at Wrigley around 4:05pm ET today.
On the Hill...
The Dodgers will throw Kershaw tonight and bring both Trade Deadline Pick Ups in Mat Latos and Alex Wood going Saturday and Sunday. The Bucs have their man going vs Kershaw in Cole with both Francisco Liriano and Charlie Morton going after him as this should "Must See Show T.V"!
At the Dish...
Adrian Gonzalez (.296 avg 22 HR 65 RBI 62 R) and Justin Turner (.323 avg 13 HR 44 RBI) continues to lead Dodger Blue as second baseman Howie Kendrick (.291 avg 54 R 118 H) is also having a helluva season.
The Buccos are led by Star CF Drew McCutchen (.291 avg 16 HR 68 RBI 59 R) and it's always a "Cutch 22" Situation talking Buccos. LF Starlin Marte is also having a career season hitting .289 with 13 HR 56 RBI and 52 Runs scores.
