The Atlanta Hawks knew they had to put their best foot forward hearing the news that Washington's All-Star PG and the Owner of Wall's Wings and Burgers John Wall would be out due to a wrist ailment. The Hawks took full advantage of him being out as Hawks All-Star PG Jeff Teague goes 12 points, eight assist, and seven boards to lead four Hawk starters in double figures to a 106-90 win.
The Wizards looked good or a half playing without Wall-Star but 48 minutes without one of the best Points in the "Logo" something had to give sooner rather than later and it did. Washington settled for more J's with Wall-Star out and it showed as Atlanta was +14 in makes from the stripe and + 11 in attempts.
Wall's back up Ramon Sessions played well leading the Wiz to 21 points but the Hawks four All-Star came to play. Demarre Carroll led with 22 points and six boards as the Hawks Elmer Glue Dude continues to show his worth on that 2015 free agent market. Paul Milsap added 18 points and eleven boards wit Al Horford chipping in with 18 himself and six helpers.
The Wiz shot nearly 55% from the arc but all that was negated by Atlanta's dominance on the glass and at the free throw line and winning the Turnover battle. Wall-Star through reports will be day to day and look for then Three Stripes Scooby Doos Hero to be ready for Game 3 back in Washington on Saturday May 9th at 5pm ET on ESPN...
