Just like that it as the Cleveland Cavaliers creating a "Perfect Storm" at the Madhouse in an Elimination game for the Bulls. Now the sticking points was this King James shot 7 for 23 from the field and Kyrie added six points going out in the 2nd frame with what was deemed as a left knee injury. If you would have told the Bluedude that I would have told you the Bulls will be playing on Sunday.
Then there is this the Bulls in an elimination game picked the wrong night to go for broke shooting the Spalding orange. A 37% plus clip from the field and a 4 for 20 from deep as they only get to the line ten times...this was not suppose to be in the cards on this night.
Kyrie's "Benson" Matt Dellavedova had 19 huge points off the bench shooting 3 for 6 from deep getting his inner John Crotty on. Iman Shumpert had a stretch in the 2nd frame where he had 11 points in the 1st half as he ended up with 13. The other Knicks Castoff J.R. added a dozen points as all three of those players combined to shoot 8 for 16 from the arc....game and series over.
What will the Bulls do from here as that window of opportunity is starting to close with this current group. I personally think changes need to be made from top to bottom but that won't happen and this is clearly the issue. Will the Bulls have a new head coach and if so who will he be? What style will be implemented and what draft pick are they targeting as all that process has to start on Friday May 15...and that is the nature of this beast!
Cavs Nation good luck in the 2nd round and Bulls Nation as long as we have next season there is a shot as we are built to contend the question now becomes are we built to get a parade route?
