It was a game a game seven that was going to come down to the two in and around the blue-paint. Yes with Lord Stanley's Cup for the taking in the next round the stakes couldn't get any higher. The Blues Shirts had King Henrik Lundqvist in net with the Bolts rolling with the unheralded but more than solid Ben Bishop putting in big-time work in these 2K15 Playoffs!

It was back and forth in the first two frames with both net miners holding their own as the game went scoreless through the first two frames. Before the 3rd frame started you had this gut feeling whoever "Lit the Lamp" first would not only lead the game but would have a decided advantage.

It was the Lightning's Alex Killorn with a nifty backhand right between the wickets of King Henrik not even two minutes into the 3rd giving the Bolts a 1-0 lead. That lead would hold up all the way past the middle of the 3rd when Ondrej Palat wrist one past King Henrik and that was huge as the Bolts would go up 2-0 never to give an inch after that.

Tampa goes onto win 2-0 and win game 7 as they capture the Prince of Wales Trophy for the NHL's Eastern Conference Winner. There was just 47 SOG between both teams with the Blue Shirts getting just 22 of that 47.  Bishop stopped 22 of 22 while King Henrik stopped 23 of 25 SOG.

The Bolts now await the winner of the Chicago/Anaheim Series as that goes to game 7 on Saturday in Anaheim...
