The Chicago Bulls had their chances but the same power outages on the offensive end in game 4 resurfaced in game 5 and that was the ball game. Couple that with "Just A Kid from Akron" LeBron James going for a game-high 38 points (24 pts 1st half) it was to much #ALLInCleveland.

The Bulls after a furious start opening start shooting 7 for 9 led them to a one point deficit after one 25-24.  James then took over in the 2nd frame scoring 17 of his 24 first half points as Jimmy Butler was in foul trouble and the Bench was thin due to Pau Gasol's game 5 absence due to that strained hamstring.  The Bulls trailed 54-44 at the break but you would have though they trailed by much more as the "Q" was off the hinges!

After Derrick Rose's 114 first half points closed that deficit and played nip and tuck in the 3rd all the way up to the two-minute mark. With the score 70-66 Cavs they close the 3rd on a 10-5 run to push that four point lead to nine 80-71.

Then with just over ten minutes to go the Bulls Taj-Manian Devil Gibson gets tangled up with of all people Matt Dellavedova and a melee ensued leading to Taj getting ejected. The Cavs then leading 83-73 at that points in the 4th went up 92-75 on a 9-2 run in less than three minutes.

Chicago answered though going on a 18-5 run as it was 97-91 Cavs with just under four minutes remaining. Jimmy Butler (29 pts) hit a huge money ball cutting a 101-96 Cavs lead to 101-99 with 1:18 left on the clock. Both Butler and Rose missed shots as both James and Kyrie Irving (25 pts) put the game away at the stripe 106-101.

D-Rose nearly went triple-double with 16 points and nine boards and seven assists. Kyrie on that bad wheel and an assortment of maladies goes for an impressive 25 points and Kids work on that handle.

Game 6 is back in Chicago on Thursday May 14 at 8pm ET at the Madhouse...what a series!
