On the Bluedude's Canvas talking 2015 NBA Draft a couple of measurements stand out more than others. The most important two to me or a top 3 is actual height without shoes and wingspan. Say for instance your PF listed at 6"9" 250 in college but they take your scooby doos off and your 6'7 1/2" and 240. Its that height without shoes and with shoes along with the all important with a wingspan say 7'4"...that might or should illustrate you play "Big" around the rim on tape. Add that to if you an athlete or not as I prefer ball player highly-skilled over all this garbage but some of it is important.
Let's go inside to the 2015 NBA Draft Combine with some names you might know for key measurements:
Two Longest Wingspans:
PF Rakeem Christmas #Cuse 7' 5.25 "
PF Montrezl Harrell #Ville 7' 4.25 "
Both of these players play above the rim and now you add these ginormous (Lol) wingspans lookout as they made more money today...
Two longest Standing Reach's:
C Robert Upshaw #Washington 9' 5"
C/PF Myles Turner #Texas 9'4"
Upshaw at 6'10" and Turner 6'9" are "Bigs" and watch Turner he has some legit L-Train of Rip City in him LaMarcus Aldridge (As both are from DFW Metroplex) who might be a Clipper on Draft Day or when the July Free Agency period opens up...
Shortest Player at the NBA Draft Combine 2015 is my guy UConn's PG Ryan Boatright measuring at just 5'10" and a wingspan of just over 6' feet but be careful he is a monster with a lot of current Wizards Will Bynum who took the European Route first then has been in the Logo for some years after that...pullin' for mu guy the "Boat Show"...go get'em young fella!
Scrimmaging on Thursday and Friday...
Note: Big Names left out as they are going high lottery regardless that's the name of the game as their so-called people (Agents/Handlers) have told them not to participate in most of the Combine "Stuff"
