The Chicago Blackhawks solve Devan Dubnyk again and gets three frozen ones by him and an empty-netter as the Indian Head moves to a 2-0 lead. Now knowing what the Hawks will face at the Xcel Energy Center in the Twin Cities the Indian Head is just doing what they are suppose to do and that is to "Protect the Madhouse" at all costs.
After a scoreless first frame the Hawks hit Dubnyk and the Wild for two scores in he 2nd. It was Captain Serious with a short-hang goal two minute and change over the ten minute mark for a 1-0 Hawks lead. Then just before the end of the 2nd frame the Wild gets careless shooting the puck in the Hawks end only to D.K. find the "Bison City Mullet" #88 flying down the right side of the ice as he wrists one past Dubnyk for a 2-0 Hawks lead heading into the 3rd.
The Wild not out of game 2 just yet gets a Matt Dumba score as he shoots one right at the glove side of "Craw-Dad" as Corey misplays it right through his mitt for a score making it 2-1 Hawks. Then just before her midway points Patrick Sharp takes a puck capitalizing off of a misplay in the neutral zone beating Dubnyk again glove side for a Hawks 3-1 lead.
The Wild down 3-1 pulls Dubnyk at the 17 minute mark only to find #88 with the Puck again as he finds the empty net for the final score of 4-1. Both team shad 31 SOG it just came down to the Hawks out skating and playing smarter hockey than the Wild.
Now we get Minnesota in a must-win situations they get back to then Xcel Energy Center for games 3 and 4 and the Hawks need to be ready.
